This Book Was the Original Story of What Happened After Star Wars a New Hope
No Joke. Lucas hired Alan Dean Foster to write a script htat could be filmed on a low budget if Star Wars was not a success. This is that script. Because Star Wars was a success, we got the big budget Empire Strikes Back and the sequel script became a book. Fascinating.
Your Looking at the Next Terminator from Terminator Genesis
This is the pic that this new actor who is playing the next terminator (bad guy) posted along with this statement:
"Thanks to an amazing team of people who help me get better each week, both physically & creatively, I'll be playing a T-800 (Terminator) in the upcoming production Terminator: Genesis. I'm extremely grateful & motivated as this new chapter begins to take shape.”
Genuis Sticker Making Fun of the App Store
Haha. I can see some outdoorsy people really loving these stickers. This inventor will probably make a mint off of this one.

Kevin Smith to Make a Christmas Horror Trilogy with This Freaky Christmas Character
Ok, Not kidding. This guys name is Krampus and other countries actually believe in him. Kevin Smith (the director of Clerks) is planning to make a horror Christmas trilogy about him. Here is what Smith said,
“When I was a kid, if they wanted to make a Christmas horror movie, they’d stick an axe in Santa’s hands. In Anti-Claus we leave Santa alone and creep with the Krampus through twisted tales of holly-jolly murder, desire, desperation and despair. Just in time for the holiday season. In America, we’re taught that nice kids gets presents from Santa and naughty kids get coal. But in countries like Germany, Austria, Bavaria, Romania and Hungary, Christmas is more metal than merry: Saint Nicholas brings a sack full of toys for good kids and the Krampus carries an empty bag for taking away the bad kids. I wanna see THAT Christmas movie. So rather than wait for it, we’ll make it instead.“
Check Out McDonald's Amazing Spiderman 2 Girl Toys in Pink!
Kind of Cool that McDonald's is trying to include the ladies in a clearly Boy-centric movie. I am sure McDonald's really just wants the business. But, it is cool anyways.
Here is the Cast and Photo for the New Star Wars Episode VII. AWESOME!!!!
This just makes me so happy! I love that J.J. is right next to Harrison. Just having The old gang in the same room brings great feelings! This is the first read through of the script by the cast!!! Love this pic:)
This is the cast: John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow will join the original stars of the saga, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker in the new film. No idea who the rest will play yet.
Director J.J. Abrams said, "We are so excited to finally share the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII. It is both thrilling and surreal to watch the beloved original cast and these brilliant new performers come together to bring this world to life, once again. We start shooting in a couple of weeks, and everyone is doing their best to make the fans proud."
The movie opens worldwide on December 18, 2015.
Barbie is Getting a Live Action Movie
That is not a joke. Looks like the folks at Sony have decided to give a Barbie movie a go. It will be live action and this is the only other piece of official info to have come out in the announcement: The movie script at this point "…allows the character of Barbie to use her personal and professional skills to step into the lives of others and improve them, almost like a modern Mary Poppins." Interesting.
Angry Birds is Failing!
This is sad news for people like myself that have quite enjoyed the Angry Birds phenomena. However, the financial reports are in and it looks like Rovio (the company that makes Angry Birds) is making less than half of what it made in 2012 this year. Yikes. And, it sounds like most of the major profits are coming from merchandising (stuffed animals, boardgames etc.). Here's hoping the birds get hot again. Angry Birds Marvel or Lord of the Rings anyone?
The X-Games Will Now Include Call of Duty Video Game as a Competitive Televised Sport!
Well, if any major televised competition would include video gaming as a sport, it would be the X-games. Sure enough, this June we will see professional Major League Gaming (yes, that is a real thing) competing with skateboarders, Bmx-ers and others for a gold medal at the games. And, it will be televised on ESPN and ABC. Crazy. But, crazy awesome!
Awesome New Update from Marvel on the Upcoming Daredevil TV Show!
Here is what the Marvel Exec just had to say about the upcoming Daredevil and others TV series set to arrive on Netflix later this year:
Guess what Big Name Will Now Be in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy!

It's official! Justice League will be next after Batman vs Superman!!!
Silverman (Pres of Warner Bros production) just told the Wall TSreet Journal: “It will be a further expansion of this universe,” said Mr. Silverman. “’Superman vs Batman’ will lead into ‘Justice League." Bad news is he said it won't be until 2018 that it comes out. And about that Wonder Woman movie Warner Bros. president of worldwide marketing Sue Kroll added: “With the right script, that could be viable," "The world is ready for her.” Holy two big stories in one day! Are you excited for another major Superhero movie? And the beginning of a Wonder Woman franchise?
Here is What the Director of the First Two Fantastic Four Movies Had to Say About Them
“With those types of big movies, you’re directing three movies. There’s the movie you’re shooting, there’s the second-unit action stuff, and there’s the visual effects movie. You’ve got to learn how to deal with all of them.
The other thing I learned from those two Fantastic Four movies, is that sometimes you can be too lax on how much control you give to the visual effects team, or the production design team, or whoever. If you end up in situations and you’re not happy with certain things, it’s because you didn’t stay on top of them.
Doing the big movies with the special effects—that’s not 100 percent what I set out to do,” said Story. “I wanted to get back to what I knew was in my heart. I think as a filmmaker, there’s the bigness of Hollywood, but if you come from small, personal pieces, you want to get back to that at some point.”
