This Book Was the Original Story of What Happened After Star Wars a New Hope

No Joke.  Lucas hired Alan Dean Foster to write a script htat could be filmed on a low budget if Star Wars was not a success.  This is that script.  Because Star Wars was a success, we got the big budget Empire Strikes Back and the sequel script became a book.  Fascinating.
